Youtube free music service is now available on Google Home devices

Apr 19, 2019
The free ad-supported music service from Youtube can now be streamed through Google's smart speakers. Before the release, the user had to subscribe to Youtube's paid music streaming service for $9.99 monthly. The service doesn't let users select a specific song, instead, the device will select a playlist that relates to the song. The default music program can be selected manually to enjoy different types of music services available for the speakers. With this new service, background music can be played instead of leaving the phone connected to the speaker. The only speakers in the market that are not compatible with Youtube's music streaming service is Amazon's Echo speaker, which comes with Alexa service.
