Google Docs will offer translation-based grammar suggestions
Feb 27, 2019
Traditional spelling and grammar checks have been part of Google Docs for a while, but now Google will introduce a new grammar suggestion program that will use a helpful translation model helpful for linguists that will directly compete with third-party services like Grammarly. The suggestion will appear as blue lines under the incorrect word or phrase, and they will reach G Suite Basic, Business and Enterprise customers. The company hasn't revealed the launch date, but the service is already available for an early adopter program.
