Apple banned Google from distributing its internal iOS apps
Feb 1, 2019
According to a report, the early version of Google services such as Google Maps, Hangouts, Gmail and other beta apps stopped working today in devices with iOS. This block happened one day after the company announced they disabled Screenwise Meter, a Google-private app that was designed to monitor phone usage and habits, like Facebook'ss research app. Apple warned its developers that their enterprise certificates couldn't be used for distribution to consumers, nor could it violate the policies of the companies. Both Facebook and Google didn't stick to Apple's data policy, which made them lose their certificates.
