Alexa's new feature turns her into a security guard

Last month Amazon released a new Alexa feature that turns the speakers into a security guard. When activated, Alexa Guard monitors suspicious sounds and sends notifications to the user's smartphone. The speaker can detect sounds like a window breaking or a possible forced entrance. The developers trained Alexa by destroying different types of glass to collect data of the differences in acoustic characteristics and can be activated just with one spoken command: "Alexa, I"m leaving." Speakers that are synchronized with smart lights can also turn them on and off to make it look like there is someone inside the house.
