Apple CEO says the company accepts payments from Google because it's the best search engine around. However, the company has integrated safety precautions to protect consumers' privacy. The chief executive also stated the recent data practices from companies such as Facebook and Google are a form of surveillance, but ironically, Apple still works with those companies. Google pays a large amount of money to Apple to be Safari's default web search engine on its browser. According to the CEO, the company has been working on measures and technology that will help protect users from data collection from large companies.
