Google buys a lot near its headquarters for $1 billion

Google spent around $1 billion to acquire more than 50 acres in Mountain View, California. Google keeps pursuing the expansion of its territory in Silicon Valley. The company already owns 12 buildings within the property; the company has already invested around $3 billion on the acquisition of property in the area in the last two years. Google has also acquired 10 more acres for a new property where the company plans to set a new campus in San Jose, California. However, Google is still waiting for city approval for their new project.
