GM is joining the market with an electric truck
May 3, 2019
General Motors has been slowed to announce the introduction of a new electric pickup truck, which has made the company fall behind competitors like Tesla, Ford, and startup Rivian. However, GM has stated that it is working on a new electric model that will have the same capabilities as the current diesel vehicles. Some analysts have noted that the company might launch an electric version of its popular Chevy Silverado, while others believe that it could launch something new. What everyone seems to agree on is that it will be hard to persuade the target audience that uses these trucks for heavy lifting to switch to an electric model because they are sometimes considered to be less resilient.
