Ford will stop selling trucks in South America
Feb 20, 2019
Ford has announced unexpectedly that it would stop selling heavy-duty trucks in South America, a region where it has struggled for a long time to meet its sales target. Ford will cease production at its plant in Sao Bernardo do Campo, Brazil, and it will stop producing its F-350 and F-4000, the company added that it would also stop selling the Ford Fiesta when the inventory runs out. Though the news comes as a shock, Ford had previously said it wanted to focus on markets where it had a strong presence and produce more popular models.
