Coca-Cola does not want to compete with Starbucks

According to some recent statements from the company CEO, the $5.1 billion acquisition of the coffee company Costa was not a move against the biggest coffee company in the U.S. The executive also gave some insight concerning the growing cannabis market and what factors could come in between for Coca-Cola to get involved in it. The recent strategies from the beverage company and the acquisition of Costa are not intended to create competition against companies like Starbucks or Nestle, but to create a new way of coffee consumption.
