Spire Global reaches an agreement with Europe Space Agency

The recently-created satellite analytics company reached an agreement with the European Space Agency and will work with its Galileo satellites to improve on their weather data analysis. According to Spire executives, the $2.7 billion will be on Spire's schedule for 25 years. The company recently launched a couple of satellites, and with the help of Galileo's network of satellites, Spire will provide data about the Earth's atmosphere. According to experts, the spacecraft will use a technique called radio occultation and will be a fundamental tool for predicting weather and advanced data.
