See the world's first 3D-printed titanium wheels
Nov 19, 2018
HRE Performance Wheels and GR Additive have joined forces to develop the world's first 3D-printed titanium wheels, the wheels are not only good-looking and surprisingly durable, but also incredibly lightweight as well. The wheels were made through a process called electric beam melting, allowing the creation of more complex shapes than standard 3D printing. The use of titanium makes the wheels very light and durable. According to company executives, this is the first time performance wheels are made out of the durable metal, similar to the aerospace industry.
