Scandinavian Airlines reports higher profits
Dec 5, 2018
Earlier this week, Scandinavian Airlines reported a higher than expected increase in pretax profit, but there is a possibility that due to high fuel prices and competition, the company's losses could grow. A couple of months ago, pretax profits reached around 809 Swedish crowns, a notable increase from last year's 657 million with its forecast of 729 million. Scandinavian Airlines hopes that the concluding results will be favorable before taxation. According to SAS's executives, the company still has much work to do to deliver an excellent service to its customers, and there will be plenty of competition on the days ahead.
