Restored Porsche 911 on sale
Oct 31, 2018
The German company is turning 70, and what a better way to celebrate than with the restoration of one of its ultimate classic models? Dubbed 'Project Gold' it consisted in restomodding the 1990's Porsche 911. Restomodding is the process of redesigning a classic model with modern details. The car took over a year to be manufactured, including details and paint job and was sold in an auction for $3.1 million, much more than expected. The Porsche Foundation charity received all the money from the sale. Porsche hasn't announced any other vehicles and said that this model was made with the intention to celebrate their anniversary.
