Renault demands an urgent meeting with Nissan

According to some reports, Renault executives wrote a letter to Nissan demanding the company an urgent shareholder meeting. According to the French Automaker, the arrest of former Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn can be a potential dealbreaker between both firms. Ghosn was arrested last month due to reports from a whistleblower about his misuse of company money and underreporting his earnings. Renault owns a large part of Nissan, and according to the report, the French automaker wants to have a discussion with Nissan about Renault's representation in the Japanese automaker's executive board.
