Nissan will fire chairman Carlos Ghosn after an internal investigation revealed he didn't report his actual salary to Japan's financial authorities for years. According to the company, other executives will leave Nissan for the same reason as Ghosn. The Japanese automaker released an online statement explaining the situation and the ongoing investigation. The company received information from a whistleblower several months ago. Ghosn apparently reported fewer earnings than he really had, it is not clear if he did this to avoid taxes.
