NASA selects 9 companies to compete for lunar projects

NASA recently selected nine space exploration companies that will compete for $2.6 billion to develop future projects and technology for lunar exploration. According to NASA officials, the company is heading into new territory when it comes to trying new strategies like this. The new approach uses the Space Policy Directive 1 as a platform. After a lengthy selection process, NASA selected companies such as AStrobotic, Aerospace, Moon Express, and off-course Elon Musk's SpaceX. Nasa wants to have diversity when it comes to the moon market, and by having a wide variety of options, NASA becomes the belle of the ball of space tourism.
