Mazda recalls 640,000 models due to engine malfunction

The Japanese car manufacturer recently announced the recall of 640,000 diesel-powered vehicles from around the world due to technical issues concerning engine valves. According to some sources, a few of the affected models are the Mazda 3, CX-5, and the CX-8. There will be 230,000 recalls in Japan and other 410,000 in the rest of the world. The malfunction was spotted in the diesel engine mechanism. Last week, Subaru had to go through a similar problem that affected at least 400,000 of its models.
