London is planning a zero emissions zone
Oct 18, 2018
The city of London is planning to drastically reduce its motor traffic by 50% in the next 25 years and turn the capital into a zero-emission zone. Following a consultation process, the city and county developed an alternative strategy towards transport and officials claim that the plan focuses on its business and culture center. To reduce auto traffic, the city will include a congestion charge as they strive to reduce traffic by 25% by 2030 and 50% by 2044. However, there's still no indication of how this measures will be implemented.
