Italian village issued 58,000 speeding tickets in 10 days

A village in Italy had an ongoing problem with speeding drivers, but in a twist of events, authorities installed a new camera and results left most people shocked at the results. In the first ten days, the camera registered more than 58,000 speeding violations. According to the mayor, the situation is total madness as most residents of the city walk and cross the road. The system also recorded that the fastest cars are caught in the middle of the day when people are walking in the street. Some speculate that these streets have this particular problem because drivers know they won't find any cameras or speedbumps.
