Dec 14, 2018
According to a recent statement from GM's CEO, the company will relocate 1,100 workers that volunteered to the company's plan. GM has 2,700 jobs openings in the U.S., and according to the company, the workers will be provided with training and compensation for those who were affected by the business restructuring process. According to GM executives, the current state of the economy has let the company make its move towards a better future. Some experts in the auto industry see GM's move as necessary if they want to stay in the competition against car-sharing companies, while some others disagree, including President Trump.
