The global car alliance is at risk since it has emerged that former CEO Carlos Ghosn has worked for years to form a secret partnership between Nissan and Daimler. According to some analysts, the arrest and removal of Carlos Ghosn could cause a wave of actions in the carmaking industry. Some analysts even say that the effects from Ghosn are the most prominent actions of self-sabotage in modern car history, not only did the man destroy his career and reputation, but the companies are now in a problematic situation. Ghosn was arrested earlier this week in Tokyo and is accused of withholding around $45 million in income and misusing company money.
