Ford ventures into mobility business

Ford is looking forward to joining the micro-mobility trend and acquired the scooter company based in San Francisco, California known as Spin. According to sources, the automaker will invest $200 million in Spin. Ford also states that the deal helps solidify its mobility portfolio and provides a service made for everyone. The hybrid scooter even includes wireless internet connection. Spin offers options to its consumers; they can either buy or lease or pay by use. Spin is now a Ford subsidiary based in San Francisco, and since its creation, the trend seems to be growing.
