Ford's Shelby GT500 Mustang's brakes will be 3D-printed
Dec 7, 2018
According to a recent press release, Ford's upcoming GT500 Shelby Mustang will have 3D-printed brakes. The company invested $45 million in its Advanced Manufacturing Center and will be focusing on the development of new technology, such as 3D printing. One of the first tasks this division will have is to print out parts for the 700-horsepower Shelby GT500 Mustang. The upcoming vehicle will be displayed at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show, and according to some, it will be a walk down memory lane. The car won't be lining up with the hybrid or electric trend as it will be a pure V8 muscle car, just like the good old days.
