CO2 emissions increased since 2013
Nov 9, 2018
According to the Department of Transport, CO2 emissions of new cars are in an all-time high since 2013. Some of the data was taken from new vehicles registered in the UK, and the sudden rise of these levels is due to the decrease in diesel car sales. Some experts state that the cause of the environmental hazard is the recent WLTP emissions regulations. Government legislation towards the rules of diesel engines and cars is directly responsible for climate change. Despite the use of electric vehicles, things have gotten worse somehow; experts claim that consumers must have confidence and invest in cleaner cars.
