California Governor pressured to cancel multi-million rail plan

According to a recent state audit, there are some issues concerning the multi-million dollar costs concerning a rail construction plan, blaming poor decision-making and mismanagement. The inquiry comes before a scheduled hearing focused on California's High-Speed Rail Authorities where government lawmakers will investigate some of their officials. California is at risk of having to pay back $3.5 billion in funds from the San Francisco Bay Area to the Los Angeles program. Some politicians criticized the elected Governor claiming that due to poor management, the project has caused a federal audit.
