British government invests �30bn on road infrastructure

As part of the chancellor's budget, the British government will invest �30bn on its roads. Officials claim that the large sum of money will be spent in maintaining and upgrading roads. It marks the first time that the money from vehicle excise duty will be used exclusively for UK's roads. There are more proposals on the way as well. Some experts state that the significant investment could bring substantial improvement to people's lives, even as getting to work faster and having safer roads.
