Boeing did not inform about a possible plane malfunction

The Boeing 737 MAX 8 and MAX 9 models have an automated stall-prevention system that can push the nose of a plane in a strange direction without any warning and with a substantial amount of force that pilots cannot control during manual mode. According to news sources, Boeing did not disclose the information regarding the stall-prevention system, and some experts speculate that the critical feature took a role in the Lion Air accident in Indonesia last month. Boeing responded through an e-mail stating that the company is taking every piece of information to get to the bottom of what caused the fatal incident.
