BMW recalls diesel models

BMW announced the recall of almost 300,000 diesel-based models in the UK due to a leaking malfunction that can cause fires. The failure lies in the exhaust gas recirculation cooler can, the specific part leaks glycol liquid. BMW stated that high temperatures represent a risk and could melt part of the car's mechanical components. The recall for the malfunction affects a wide range of BMW's models, specifically cars made between 2012 and 2016. The company sent letters to car owners about the incident advising them to contact their dealers.
