Bloodhound shuts down 1,000-mph car project
Dec 10, 2018
The Bloodhound supersonic car, or SCC, has officially been terminated after a few years of struggle to continue its experiments. Due to a lack of funds, Bloodhound has been forced to shut down the 1,000-mph project. Earlier this year, the team behind the project tried to raise funds to break the current 763 mph record, but the team ran out of money and declared bankruptcy. Preparation for the tests had already begun, but due to the project shutting down, there will be no further testings. The good side of this is that a supersonic vehicle, equipped with rockets, is now available for $319,000, according to news sources.
