Blade app expands to India
Dec 5, 2018
Blade is a U.S. ride-sharing company based in Manhattan and delivers its service of private helicopters to the New York area; recently the company announced the expansion of its service to Mumbai, India, which has a variety of heliports in Pune and Shirdi. According to company executives, some of the major Indian cities are drastically congested, and then Blade comes in with their unique app. Users must download Blade's app to order a private helicopter; payment must be with credit cards. Back in the U.S., the usual fare for the short trips can go up to $200, but there are still no prices for India's helicopter-sharing rides.
