Autonomous pods are delivering groceries in Arizona
Dec 21, 2018
Nuro is a tech firm that focuses on creating software and developing technology for self-driving vehicles, and recently they released a set of weird-looking pods that are delivering groceries to customers. When the project started, Nuro used a set of Toyota Prius with a safety driver on board, and now they have switched to unmanned vehicles known as 'R1', and can be controlled remotely. According to a blog post made by Nuro Executives, the release of this project ends years of hard work and scientific breakthroughs. Customers can order their groceries through their smartphones with an exclusive app and when the vehicle arrives, the customer inserts a code and can access their purchase.
