Oct 17, 2018
As the popularity of combining a well balanced off-road vehicle and a place to sleep in the middle of nature grows, a 1942 Chevrolet Army truck camper was converted into a camper, and it will be up for sale in November at a Las Vegas auction. These important 4x4 vehicles served during World War II and were able to transport 1.5 tons of equipment to the battlefield. After the war, this model was treated with a cargo body and a winch, with also a custom camper of oak with engraved wood and brass hardware. The classic vehicle includes a replacement engine of 350-cubic-inch 5.7-liter V8.
