Dec 10, 2018
The United Nations didn't reach the minimum necessary votes to sentence Hamas military forces. The White House requested the sentence after the militants attacked Israel with a series of missiles. Several countries, including the US and the UK, consider Hamas Army as a terrorist group. Hamas left the meeting with 30 votes in favor. The US representative at the Assembly said that not approving the resolution was a serious mistake. Hamas spokesman said the rejection of the US request was a blow to US Presiden Donald Trump.
