Ugandan child dies of Ebola virus

The first casualty due to Ebola in Uganda has been confirmed, it was a 5-year-old boy, and the death increasing the overall Ebola death toll to 1,400. Since last year, the Democratic Republic of Congo has recorded around 2,200 Ebola cases, and most of them have been fatal. This outbreak is reportedly the second biggest in history since the virus started spreading in West Africa back in 2013. The last victim was a Ugandan 5-year-old boy who had gotten sick during a family trip where he crossed the border from DRC on Sunday. Days before dying, he was taken to a hospital where he showed several symptoms, including vomiting blood and high fever.
