50 people go missing after an explosion in Nigeria

Mar 6, 2019
On Friday, an explosion caused by an oil pipeline left more than 50 people missing in Southern Nigeria. Authorities confirmed that the blast happened in the Nembe Kingdom in Bayelsa state, and the company responsible for the accident was the Aiteo group, but the firm hasn't offered any statements. Nigerian authorities are well-aware of the illegal refining, robberies, and vandalism and they are continually trying to fight against it. Nigeria had already gone through a tragedy like this when back in January a leak caused a fuel explosion in Odukpani. Currently, authorities are trying to find the missing people, but their attempts have been unsuccessful until now.
