Sunscreens in the US might have new regulations
Mar 1, 2019
The Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) announced the proposal of new regulations on drugstore sunscreen in hopes of sticking to the latest safety standards and scientific information. The target of this proposal is to make consumers aware of what they are buying by changing the labels on the products with information about the ingredients and the right dosage since we have much more information than we had when the previous guidelines were implemented. This proposal can be reviewed over the next 90 days, and experts say that it is still safe to use the sunscreens that are currently on the market.
