Pampers set to install 5,000 baby changing tables in the U.S. and Canada
Jun 12, 2019
The diaper company has started a campaign to install 5,000 baby changing stations in men's bathrooms across the U.S. and Canada. The campaign started after Donte Palmer posted a picture squatting on a wall to use his legs as a changing table for his child. In 2016, Obama placed the BABIES Act, where it was mandatory to install changing tables in public places; the act did not cover restaurants and stores. Pampers spokespeople stated that it was time for facilities to accommodate modern fathers and not consider women as the designated child-carer. The number of changing tables is predicted to double by the end of the year.
