'The Lion King' remake breaks record

Disney has had an unprecedented year at the box office as 5 of the studio's films have reached the $1 billion at the worldwide box office, and now it's breaking a new record. 'The Lion King' live-action CGI hybrid hit theaters a few weeks ago, and it has made history as the top-grossing animated movie ever by earning over $1.33 billion; the previous record was held by the 2013 Disney hit, Frozen. The movie is currently at number 12, which means it could enter the top ten of top-grossing film ever.
