Huawei might sell 5G chips to Apple
Apr 15, 2019
Huawei founder and CEO Ren Zhengfei has stated that Huawei is open to providing 5G chips and silicon to Apple and other competitors, marking a significant change in the company's management of its intellectual property. At the moment, Huawei manufactures its own processors and haven't been used in devices from other companies, although Apple would like to stay with his own processor, it could be interested in getting 5G chips. At the moment, Apple doesn't have a phone that supports 5G connectivity, and the firm only uses chips from Qualcomm and Intel in its devices. However, Apple has declined to offer any comment on this possibility.
