Mar 14, 2019
The automaker issued a recall for 800,000 vehicles and added that the decision is a routine procedure as part of new regulations and emissions guidelines adopted by officials in the US. The environmental protection agency (EPA) said the recall was part of investigations regarding in-use vehicles. Fiat Chrysler also stated that the issue was discovered during a routine inspection and that there were no fines to pay, adding that some customers have already been contacted and the company will conduct the repairs free of charge.
